Mothers and children share an unspoken bond – a feeling of trust, comfort and unconditional love. As a mother myself, I understand that bond very well. I also understand how fleeting childhood seems – one moment your baby is sleeping soundly in your arms, the next – they are already a teenagers.

We try as hard as we can to capture as many of those precious moments as they grow, but mothers are often left behind the camera, taking quick snaps here and there.
